Preamble

The 2nd International Conference of the Faculty of Arts, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria, held from Tuesday March 11th to Friday, March 14th, 2014, with the theme: "The Humanities and the Dynamics of African Culture in the 21st Century". Participants from the Arts and Social sciences attended from all over the world and presented papers on evaluation of cultural identity in the 21st Century, the Diaspora and African culture in the New Millennium, African youth and culture in the New Millennium, the history and dynamics of African culture, languages, literature, etc. At the end of the fruitful deliberations, the following communiqué emerged.
