OBJECTIVES

The broad objective is the provision of a sound scientific basis for the training of Medical Students in the Clinical Sciences.  Each student at the end of the course is expected to be able to:

i.    Define anatomical terms and expressions used in the study and practice of Medicine and communicate effectively in these terms with other specialists in the health profession; and

ii.    Apply the information obtained in the solution of either abstract or real problems involving human biology in his clinical years.
