The Department of Biochemistry offers M.Sc, ph.D. degrees with specialization in the following areas:

• Nutritional Biochemistry
• Clinical Biochemistry
• Lipid Biochemistry

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

To graduate,  a student must pass a minimum of 30 units which should include Core and special Course and Research thesis. In addition, a student shall be expected to deliver at least one Seminar on a current topic in Biochemistry related to the research project as approved by the Department during the course of study. This is different from Seminars based on the candidate’s Research thesis project.
