Members of the University community and the public are hereby informed that the immediate past Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sam. O. Uniamikogbo, FNIM, has handed over to the Registrar, Mrs. O.J. Omole, MNIM, MANUPA in accordance with the directive of the Edo State Government.

In the same vein, the Registrar, Mrs. O.J. Omole has handed over to the acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Mrs.) C.A. Agbebaku. The handing over exercise took place today, 5th May, 2011.

In a similar development, the acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Mrs.) C.A. Agbebaku has assumed duty and performed her first official function this morning, 5th May, 2011 when she received the report of the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) accreditation team to the department of Accounting of this University.

While we join the State Government to thank the immediate Vice-Chancellor for his services to the University, we also wish him the very best of luck in his future endeavours.

On the other hand, we congratulate and welcome on board the acting Vice-Chancellor and wish her a successful and eventful tenure in office.
