Registration For 2010 Christian Pilgrimage |

Members of the University community, especially the Christians are hereby informed that registration for the 2010 Christian Pilgrimage to the Holy Lands of Israel and Rome has commenced.
According to a release signed by the Secretary, Edo Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Venerable J.E. Osueni, interested members of staff who are Christians can obtain forms at the cost of N2,000 from the underlisted addresses:
(a) Office of the Board Secretary, Benin City.
(b) St. Andrew’s Cathedral Office, Eguare-Ekpoma.
(c) Etsako West CAN Secretariat @ All Saints Cathedral, Auchi.
(d) St. Patrick Catholic Church Office, Ugbowo.
(e) Or log on to www.edostate.gov.ng
The release further stated that air lifting of pilgrims will begin on the 23rd of October, 2010 while the tentative cost is Four hundred and fifty thousand Naira (N450,000) only which can be paid instalmentally into the following Banks:-
i) Equitorial Trust Bank - Account No.0360020085912
ii) Zenith Bank - Account No. 6212701712
iii) Ecobank - Account No. 0770050222593201
Intending Pilgrims are expected to visit some of the Holy sites as listed below:
1. The Mount of Olives.
2. The Garden of Gethsemane.
3. The River Jordan.
4. Bethlehem.
5. Calvary.
6. Mount Zion, Upper Room.
7. The Vatican, Peter’s Tomb, etc.
They are also to note that application closes on the 31st July, 2010.
