The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sam. O. Uniamikogbo, FNIM has constituted an Accreditation Committee for the accreditation of the MBBS programme in the College of Medicine as shown below:-
1. Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) - Chairman
2. Provost, College of Medicine - Member
3. Dean, Faculty of Clinical Sciences - Member
4. Dean, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences - Member
5. Director, Academic Planning - Member
6. Dr. S.A. Okogbeni, Chairman Medical Advisory Committee, ISTH - Member
7. Mr. Tony Edeko, acting Director of Administration, ISTH - Member
8. Dr. A.E. Dongo, deputy Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee, ISTH - Member
9. Deputy Registrar/College Secretary, College of Medicine - Secretary.
Term of Reference
(a) to make adequate preparation for the forth-coming accreditation exercise.
(b) to work out the financial implication for the exercise.
According to the release by the Registrar, L.I. Edokpayi, KSM, JP, MNIM, the Committee is expected to submit its report to the Vice-Chancellor within three weeks.
