Applications For Admission Into Postgraduate Programmes In Law For The 2009/2010 Academic Session |

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the underlisted Higher Degree Programmes in the Faculty of Law of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma for the 2009/2010 academic session.
LL.M AND Ph. D DEGREE PROGRAMMES:
1. Department of Commercial and Property Law.
2. Department of Public and International Law.
Holders of the LL. B. with at least Second Class (Honours) or Third Class (Honours) Degree with a B.L. and with at least five years post-call experience may be considered for the LL.M. Programme.
For the Ph.D. Programme, a graduate of Ambrose Alli University , Ekpoma or any other University of recognized standing who possesses a Master’s Degree appropriate to the intended course may be admitted. However, such intending candidate should have scored an average of 60 percent in his/her Master’s Degree Programme.
PERIOD OF STUDY
Master’s Degree Programme
Full-Time: The duration for the LL.M. programme shall be in the range of a minimum of twelve (12) months and not more than thirty-six (36) months.
Part-Time: The duration shall be in the range of a minimum of thirty-six (36) months and a maximum of forty-eighty (48) months. Extension may be allowed for not more than twelve (12) months.
Ph.D. Programme
Full-Time: The duration shall not be less than thirty-six (36) months and a maximum of sixty (60) months.
Part-Time: The duration shall not be less than sixty (60) months and a maximum of ninety-six (96) months.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application forms are to be obtained at the School of Postgraduate Studies Office on presentation of the University Bursary receipt for a non-refundable fee of Ten thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only. Bank drafts from reputable banks made payable to Ambrose Alli University , Ekpoma, are to be converted to the University Bursary receipts before presentation to the School of Postgraduate Studies for collection of the application forms.
Also, Two thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only cash is payable to the School of Postgraduate Studies being the cost of a copy of the Handbook.

All completed application forms with all the relevant enclosures should be returned to:
