Senate at its emergency meeting held on Monday, 19th October, 2009 approved an adjustment to the 2008/2009 Academic Calendar for regular programmes as follows:
| Sunday, 25th October, 2009 | Students come into halls of residence | | Monday, 26th October, 2009 | Second semester lectures resume | | Monday, 9th November, 2009 to Monday, 7th December,2009 | Fresh students’ acceptance, clearance and registration | | Friday, 20th November, 2009 | Second semester lectures end | | Friday, 27th November, 2009 | Second semester examinations begins with GST courses (GST 222) | | Friday, 18th December, 2009 | Second semester exams end | | Wednesday, 13th to Friday 15th January, 2010 | Meetings of the Faculty Boards of Examiners | | Wednesday, 20th to Friday, 22nd January, 2010 | Extra-ordinary meetings of Senate to consider results | | Sunday, 31st January, 2010 | Resumption for 2009/2010 session |
