DEPARTMENT OF CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION
B.Sc. (Ed.) in:
(a) Mathematics Education (b) Physics Education (c) Chemistry Education (d) Biology Education (e) Early Childhood Education (c) Library and Information Science
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS (FOUR-YEAR PROGRAMME)
A candidate must have NCE with at least a Merit pass in 2 relevant subjects excluding Teaching Practice and 3 Credit passes at O/L or TC II at a sitting. Credit passes in Mathematics and English Language are compulsory, except in Early Childhood Education where a pass in Mathematics is acceptable.
FIVE-YEAR PROGRAMME
Five (5) relevant credit passes in O/L or TC II plus a pass in NCE or University Diploma or National Diploma
SIX-YEAR PROGRAMME
(a) Candidates must possess WASC/SSCE/NABTEB with passes in at least five relevant subjects at credit level at not more than two sittings which must include English Language and Mathematics for all programmes in the Department.
(b) Candidates with TC II must have Merit passes in five relevant subjects at not more than two sittings which must include English Language and Mathematics.
Or
(c) ACE Ordinary pass in any relevant discipline
(d) Merit pass in Diploma of Ambrose Alli University or any other institution recognized by Senate of Ambrose Alli University.

B.Sc. (Ed.) in:

B.A. (Ed.) in

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT (FOUR-YEAR PROGRAMME)
A candidate must have NCE with at least a Merit pass in two (2) relevant subjects excluding Teaching Practice and three (3) credit passes at O/L or TC II at a sitting. Credit passes in Mathematics and English Language are compulsory except in English Education, French Education, History Education and, Religion Education where a pass in Mathematics is acceptable.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
FOUR-YEAR PROGRAMME
A candidate must have NCE with at least a Merit pass in two (2) relevant subjects excluding Teaching Practice and three (3) credit passes at O/L or TC II at a sitting. Credit passes in Mathematics and English Language are compulsory.
FIVE-YEAR PROGRAMME
Applicants for Agric Science, Technology Education and Home Economics Education programmes must have credit passes in any three (3) of the following: Biology, Health Science, Integrated Science, Physics, Chemistry, Agric Science, Food Science, Technical Drawing and Fine Arts.
SIX-YEAR PROGRAMME
(a) Candidates must possess WASC/SSCE/NABTEB with passes in at least five (5) relevant subjects at credit level at not more than two sittings which must include English Language and Mathematics for all programmes in the Department.
(b) Candidates with TC II must have Merit passes in five (5) relevant subjects at not more than two (2) sittings which must include English Language and Mathematics.
Or
(c) ACE Ordinary pass in any relevant discipline.
(d) Merit pass in Diploma of Ambrose Alli University or any other institution recognized by Senate of Ambrose Alli University.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Requests for application forms should be addressed to the Registrar, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, and accompanied by a non-refundable application fee of N10,000.00 (Ten thousand Naira only) in Bank draft made payable to Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
All requests for application forms should be made in person. All completed applications must be returned to reach the Registrar not later than 25th of October, 2008. Any late request for application forms will attract a fine of N2,000.00 only.
NOTE: 2008/2009 SESSION CONTACT WILL TAKE PLACE BETWEEN DECEMBER 1, AND 22, 2008 TO BE CONCLUDED BETWEEN AUGUST 1, AND 31, 2009. EXAMINATIONS WILL TAKE PLACE BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 3 AND 15, 2009.
