The officials of the Believers Love World (a.k.a.) Christ Embassy were received in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office on Friday, 25th April, 2008. The team led by Deacon Paschal Ogbome said that they were in the University to formally inform the University Authority of the intention of the Believers Love World (a.k.a.) Christ Embassy to build a 1000 capacity Lecture Theatre for Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and also to formally receive the Location Plans as well as inspect the site of the building, measuring 70 by 100 meters.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. D.O. Aigbomian, KSM, JP welcomed them to the University and thanked God for the travelling mercies granted them. He was happy that an Alumnus of the University is the President of the Believers Love World (a.k.a.) Christ Embassy who has been so magnanimous to honour the University with such a n edifice. The Vice-Chancellor on behalf of the Council, Senate, staff and students of the University expresses appreciation to Christ Embassy for their show of love to the University. The Vice-Chancellor prayed for God’s blessings on the President, Pastor Chris Oyakhilme, Ph.D., his Ministry and his Management team and used the opportunity to invite him to the forthcoming Convocation of the University. Finally, he assured that the building when completed would be put to maximum use to the glory of God and the good of humanity. The handing over of the Location Plans to the Site Engineer by the University Authority and the inspection of the site by both the University Management team and the Christ Embassy team climaxed the visit. Present to receive the team were the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. D.O. Aigbomian, KSM, JP, the Registrar, Mr. L.I. Edokpayi, Representatives of the Director, Physical Planning Division and Mr. Dave O. Imhantabhunu who stood in for the Public Relations Officer, Sir Chris Adamaigbo.
