The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. D.O. Aigbomian, KSM, JP took delivery of 4 new Kia Optima vehicles on Thursday, 17th April, 2008 on a lease agreement with the Zenith Bank, Plc, Ekpoma.

Delivering the keys of the vehicles to the Vice-Chancellor, the Branch Manager, Zenith Bank, Plc, Ekpoma said that it was in fulfillment of the outstanding agreement between the Bank and the University.  He added that he was happy that both parties were always keeping to the contractual agreement and sued for its sustenance.

The Vice-Chancellor thanked the officials of Zenith Bank for the delivery of the vehicles.  He assured that the University Management would continue to meet without fail its contractual obligations to the bank.  

The highpoint of the ceremony was the driving of one of the vehicles by the Vice-Chancellor to the admiration of observers.  The vehicles were later handed over to their respective beneficiaries - the Registrar, the Bursar, the University Librarian and the Provost, College of Medicine.
