The University community and the general public are hereby informed that the University scored 100% in the recent National Universities Commission (NUC) Accreditation visits to the University.  All the 31 programmes presented earned accreditation status.  The breakdown is as follows:

Full Accreditation status         =     24 programmes.

Interim Accreditation status    =    7   programmes

Denied Accreditation status    =    Nil

We, congratulate the Vice-Chancellor, the University Management, Council, Senate, Deans of Faculties, Heads of Departments, staff and students of the various programmes visited and the entire University community for this excellent performance.

We also wish to congratulate the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator (Prof.) O.A. Osunbor, KSC for his unprecedented financial support to the University towards the Accreditation exercise.  Undeniably, the unprecedented financial support facilitated the excellent performance of the University. We are indeed indebted in appreciation to His Excellency.
