The University Senate at its 231st regular meeting held on Wednesday, 29th August, 2007 approved the creation of the Faculty of Management Sciences from the present Faculty of Social Sciences.

The University Authority has been reliably informed of the wonderful performance of a student of this University in the just concluded All African Games (Algeria 2007).   The cheering news was released by the Head of Department (Mechanical), Engr. O. Ighodalo that a 400 level Mechanical engineering student, Miss Oribhabor Imhade with Mat. No. FET/MEE/03/01184 won a Gold Medal in Badminton in All African Games (Algeria 2007). We congratulate Miss Imhade for this wonderful achievement and making the University proud.

A team from Hopeshare Foundation, Atlanta, U.S.A. led by its President, Dr. Louis Ebhodghe was in Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma on Thursday, 23rd August, 2007 to make book donations to the University.

The Ambrose Alli University Post Office was officially commissioned on Wednesday, 12th    September, 20097 by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. D.O. Aigbomian, KSM, JP.
