I am directed to inform you that Senate, at its emergency meeting held on Wednesday, 27th December, 2006 deliberated exhaustively on the above subject matter.  Having considered the peculiarity of the problems associated with students clearance/verification of final years students between 2000/2001 to 2005/2006 sessions, Senate decided as follows:

All forms are to be completed and returned to the Division not later than 15th January, 2007.

The University community particularly the indigent students of this University are hereby informed that the Standard Alliance Insurance PLC has awarded scholarship of N20,000.00 each to 30 indigent students of this University for the 2005/2006 academic session.
